Pharmacology is the subject, which gives knowledge of various diseases and methods to control it with therapeutic and toxic effects on body due movement of drug from different site of administration. It is the linking subjects between other disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences with medical departments including different subjects like Anatomy, physiology, toxicology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, therapeutic drug monitoring, bioavailability study etc. Our department makes student of pharmacologically competent with appreciate knowledge of dosage, therapeutic responses, safety of medicines, their mechanisms and disposition. It also gives scope to discover, explore, analyses effects, facts and results of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, clinical pharmacology, toxicology and regulatory subjects. Department is actively focused in academics, research and innovations specifically in the field of disease modifying agents, diseases due to changing life style, life threatening disorders, clinical and non-clinical experiments and molecular pharmacology.
